Specific Maternity Belt Support Recommendations PLEASE

i used the search bar and didn't really find specific brands that are good for both sitting and standing to help support abdomen and lower back. FTM and The start of the third trimester for me has been rocky... Bad carpal tunnel, lower abdominal & back pain to where it hurts to lift my right leg. I'm currently using the curad maternity belt but wanted to see what is working for you. TIA!

Re: Specific Maternity Belt Support Recommendations PLEASE

  • I have the Cabea belt. (I also used the Curad one) the Cabea one has "groin staps"(sounds sexy huh?")
I also had an ache in my right leg. Feels like my hip joint is out of socket. But nope, varicose vein. The groin bands help add compression and take away that feeling. But 15 min after I take it off the feeling is back. So I know the belt works. It also helps with SPD. Sometimes I think my pubic bone is gonna split in half.
    I bought it in amazon.

  • Who wouldn't think compression underpants aren't sexy!!? :x
  • I can't remember the brand, but I actually bought mine at WalMart. It was near the nursing bras and was whatever WalMart's brand is. I have been wearing it daily for at least a month now... and when I don't wear it for a day, I can REALLY tell!

Wearing the cradel now and love it! 33w2d with twins...I am measuring 42w for a singleton. I have been wearing the cradel since 22w and LOVE it. The shoulder straps show on all of my clothes but I don't care. I feel fantastic now!

  • Thanks @LAO12. I currently am using the curad universal belt, especially at work, on the outside of my scrubs. It's not fashionable but I feel waaaaay better! Trying to find one with more support.

Maternity Spanxs have been a life saver for me this time around. They have the perfect amount of support and are still breathable in this heat. I like them a lot more than maternity belts because they don't ride up and they offer support in all positions.

I have a serola sacroiliac belt.. its specifically made for pelvic stability and low back pain and SPD. Not necessarily made for pregnancy but was recommended by my osteopath because of all the pelvic pain I've been dealing with. It works really well and I've noticed a huge difference when I wear it and when I don't. Its a compression belt that goes just under your hip bones. You can read about it here https://www.serola.net/serola-sacroiliac-belt but I bought mine on Amazon.

Does Spanx make a nursing bra!? Their bras are the best!
Didn't know they had maternity Spanx!
