I can't see either :( I shaved yesterday and totally missed a spot. At least I think it was just the one spot.
  • Ha! OMG this is totally me! I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to go "au naturale" pretty soon because this is ridiculous. Takes way too long and I can't see what in doing! My hubbie can just deal with it haha.

I did this about 5 weeks ago and I'm done. Went back to waxing. I had cut it out for budgetary reasons but I. Just. Can't. Deal. With. It. Anymore.
  • This. My husband said he'll send me to the spa for a wax. I've never waxed anything other than my eyebrows so that makes me super nervous.

Yep had this issue this morning. I just used a mirror and it worked nicely! There's no way I'm going au natural it's soooo uncomfortable being fuzzy during the summer. It's for me not DH.
  • Same. Just noticed last night. I'm totally bummed, but also will enjoy the excuse to get a little lax in the grooming.
  • No waxing for me. I have super sensitive skin right now. My legs will be smooth though. I don't play with that.

I'm allergic to wax otherwise I would be there first thing in the morning! I told my BF to help me shave he laughed and said good luck. So I told him last night don't laugh bc it looks like a bad haircut lol. I didn't want to strain my back or him push the shower curtains back in the middle of me shaving lookin all crazy in a weird pose
  • Last time around I had to bust out a mirror, but heed this warning, it is not pretty down there! I almost cried the first time I had to do this! Everything was soooooooooo swollen!
  • I cut myself because I couldn't see what I was doing. I'll be bringing a mirror in with me next time !!
  • I've always done a blind shave.  Give it time....it will come naturally!  :)  My husband and I started a tradition.  Since I have to live through No Shave November....we started Muff May a few years ago!

  • I'm not here yet.. but I'm seeing it slowly get to this point. For those of you that have gone from shaving to waxing, how long did you wait from when you last shaved? I mean, if I can't see down there I'm not going to be able to tell the length either haha.

Lol omg glad I'm not he only one. I'm blinder then a bat so I can shave my legs and armpits like nothing but when it comes to my vagina- it's unexplored territory. I always wear my contacts to make sure I don't miss anything. One way or another I will have a trimmed bush when I give birth ! When I had my daughter a few years ago the nurse was like I see she has a full head of hair when I was 8cm. When they gave her to me I laughed bc she was bald! I swear she saw my hairy vagina covering my daughters bald head !!! Lol #seriously
  • I'm so glad I found this! I have the same problem, was too scared to try a blind Shave so I went to the salon to get waxed....after a couple of minutes she had to stop because my skin reacted really badly (I always used to get waxed before pregnancy never had that problem before!!) so now I look extremely funny down there. I warned my partner last night and he found it hilarious. When I looked in the mirror I did not!! Safe to say my next step is to blind shave to try and sort this mess out!!

@babymazzei I think they usually suggest 1/4 inch in hair to get waxed. But from what I understand the further along we get the more sensitive you get. Also the first wax pregnant or not hurts like a bitch! I'm not sure I would start while pregnant. So far I haven't noticed a pain difference but I've been doing it for over ten years
  • I was giving my husband a fair warning about this exact problem a few days ago, and he flat out offered to shave for me. Ha ha. I'm not sure how he imagine that to go, but he says he is willing.

Then again he has also said if I skip it for a week or two between shaves he's okay. Ha! Thanks so much honey.
