second pregnancy, cercloge again?

Just wondering how many mamas out there who had a cercloge the first pregnancy are having one again?

This is my 2nd pregnancy but first cerclage. But my doctor already told me if we have more children, I'll have to get it each time. She'd rather be preventative than reactive. I have an incompetent cervix this time around.

I'm not pregnant yet but when and if I do have another child, I will have another cerclage. My doctor couldn't say for certain that I had IC, but since I had a successful pregnancy with no cervical shortening with the cerclage, she wouldn't want me to go through any more pregnancies without one.

Doctor stated that every pregnancy after having the first cerclage would need one. I do have IC though.

2nd preg, dd is almost 6 months .. and I'm having a 2nd cerclage placed on the 10th Feb !! my consultant did say that for every pregnancy i will have to always have one due to IC

I am 5w6d and this is my second pregnancy. I had a cercloge during my first pregnancy at 24 weeks because I went into labor and my doctor was trying all the he could to stop it but it wasn't successful. Now that we know I have an IC I'm getting a cercloge at 14 weeks with this pregnancy. I'm just wondering how successful your cercloge s have been? I'm very nervous due to my last pregnancy not being successful.

I am having the same problem my water broke at 18 weeks during my first pregnancy and now im 18 weeks and getting a cercloge im also wondering if anybody has had a successful pregnancy with one.
