Hi, all- last night I woke up in the night with something really weird. I had to pee, but I was freezing. I had blankets on and my skin felt normal temperature. I got out of bed, and was violently shivering to the point where every muscle would contract with each shake. It was really scary, and not just "I'm really cold" but felt like I was on the brink of hypothermia. I couldn't physically stop the shaking. When it was all done (once I got under lots of blankets and after around 5 minutes), I felt her move so I was relieved. I have had this happen one other time, around 11 weeks.
I'm wondering if I had low blood pressure from sleeping on my back (cutting off blood flow), since I keep waking up on my back.
Has anyone had this happen?
I am seeing my doctor tomorrow, so I'll update then no matter what in case someone else experiences this.
