Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

How do they do it?

I am struggling with the fact there are so many people in my life that are having or had children. Either they are all acting or it's pretty damn easy for them. I am happy for them but so incredibly jealous at the same time... My husband and I are trying to have our first child but so far we have experienced 2 ectopic's resulting in me loosing my left Fallopian tube and a miscarriage in the middle. It's getting to the point when I am wondering whether to carry on trying, as it hurts way too much... Has anyone else had this sort of trouble? Sorry for the essay!?

  • I feel the same way. I've had 2 miscarriages and am pregnant for the third time now.  It's so hard to stay positive and I have major anxiety because bad outcomes are the only thing I know.  I told my husband at the beginning of this pregnancy that if someone told me to climb Mt. Everest, I would feel like it was a more realistic goal than successfully giving birth -- that's how impossible pregnancy seems to me right now.  So I don't have any advice because I'm going through the exact same thing, but hopefully it helps to know you're not alone :)
  • I am sorry for your losses. This is our first loss, so I have no advice.
  • I am still recovering from the 2nd op to remove the last pregnancy. It hurts more on the inside then the physical pain. Knowing that they were viable pregnancies that were just in the wrong place. It does help knowing that others have been in similar situations. So thanks ladies. congratulations & fingers crossed xxx
