snack/meal suggestions following the 3hr glucose

I'm going in tomorrow morning for my 3 hr glucose test. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should eat afterward to help me feel not so gross??

  • Protein. I had a panini packed with chicken and turkey.

  • Protein. Eggs, nuts, Greek yogurt... I'm fairly certain if you don't usually eat a lot of sugar you'll still feel yucky though. :/. At least, I did last time.

    I had a chick fils sandwich. I honestly felt worse after my one hour than my 3 hour.

  • Yeah, I don't usually eat a lot of sugar. The 1 hr made me feel horrible and I wasn't even required to fast for that. I'm worried this is going to really take a toll on me.

    I don't know if you know this but the 3 hour is 100 grams of sugar vs. the 50 grams for 2 hour. :( baby girl was kicking so hard. I just watched my stomach go all over the place. Ha! I haven't been eating a lot of sugar either so I was terrified of 3 hour after fasting for 13 hours but I was ok I'm the end.
    Suggestion. Take an iPad and earphones and watch a movie. It made the time go quickly.
