SIDS Monitor

Is anyone using a SIDS monitor? If so, any recommendations?

    I use the snuza with my son and love it. It clips right onto his diaper, so it can be used no matter where he is sleeping. I used the angel care monitor with my daughter and didn't like it as much- it goes under the mattress and if the baby rolls to one side of the crib the alarm goes off! Talk about a near heart attack!

    I also use the Snuza and love it (except when it goes off with false alarms). I get a good hour or two stretch of sleep when I use it vs. worrying non-stop and checking on her non-stop without it.

    Definitely loving the Snuza! Peace of mind at night and at nap time when I carry the monitor around to get things done... I don't have to squint at the screen or go running to her room every five minutes to make sure she's breathing.

    I have the Snuza, too. Our alarm went off once. Scared me to death, but all was well. It helps give me peace of mind.

    I have the Snuza. The first night we used it it went off.  Our baby is less than 8 lbs and, while I hope to God that we didn't miss an instance of her not breathing, the monitor never seemed to read right when we put it on (it was flashing yellow instead of green) because there would be a gap between the purple monitor piece and her belly when she would inhale.  We haven't used it since then, but I'd like to try it again during the day when I'm awake.

    I use the angel care and think it's great. I wonder if older models didn't work as well as I have mine under the crib mattress and it picks up the entire mattress, and since it's also s baby monitor you get the other end that gives you the room temp along with everything else

    I have an angel care. It's a new model and it goes off almost every night I use it. I panick, run into my little guys room and he's always sleeping soundly.
