  Hi there!

  I'm also delivering at west penn hospital.  I've never been.  this will be my first baby.  I've heard nothing but great things about the hospital and other's experiences there.  I have a friend of a friend who is due next week and I was hoping to get a feel for what she thought after she delivers!  Welcome to Pittsburgh!  I'm due 10/27.  when are you due?

  We have 5 of us pregnant at work right now and 4 are delivering at west penn! I have done some adoption work there and between that and my coworkers it is an amazing hospital! My husband boss just delivered a premi there and they did excellent with her! The rooms are private too which is nice

  I had to go last week for my consult with the maternal fetal medicine doctors and I had never been to a hospital where you had to park in a parking garage! I guess I'm just a small town girl stuck in the big city! Everyone I have met there seems so nice, I guess I am just nervous about delivering at a hospital I'm not familiar with. I found on their website that you can do a labor and delivery tour so I will definitely be signing up for that!!

  I am delivering at west penn. They are wonderful!! My SIL had her children there and she loved it. I needed to go to the ER for dehydration and the staff treated me kindly and didn't make me feel crazy for being worried about the baby.
