Yes!! Headaches have been my number one symptom for the whole pregnancy but in the second trimester they have definitely increased. Luckily I am a teacher and am on summer break now so I have found Tylenol, lots of water, and a nap usually takes them away.
Yes!!! I'm on day 4 of a killer headache. I'm 13 wks 5 days. I can't handle it. Nothing helps! Napping, water, eating, caffeine, Tylenol. I'm actually starting to get nausea again (I haven't had it for the last 2 weeks). I feel like a bum. It's Memorial Day weekend and I spent it on the couch. I am calling my doc tomorrow. This is too much for me
15 w 4 d and I am sooo feeling you here. Headache the past three days or so! And the it starts feeling like a migraine and I get extremely nauseated. Blah. This too shall pass..
Headaches are a big second trimester symptom for a lot of women. My midwife told me to start drinking a little more caffeine. Some days pushing water helps but a lot of times I get an ocular migraine so all that helps is Tylenol and a dark room.
Had them really bad with my first, like you said, as soon as I woke up. All. Day. Long. It's so frustrating. Do a search for headaches on this board, there have been a few posts and people have some good ideas on how to deal. There is a light at the end of the tunnel; mine started right around 14-15 weeks, lasted a month and then disappeared, never to return. I hope the same for you.

I was recently advised to start upping my caffeine intake, too. The NP at my last appointment told me that I was probably making my headaches worse by trying to cut back so drastically.
I've also found that with tension headaches a cold compress to the back of my neck or forehead really helps. All the things previously mentions are also incredibly helpful, I just hadn't seen that mentioned yet on this discussion.
I'm 16w today and i've been having headaches alot these past few weeks. i don't know if they are tension or sinus but they are pretty bad. i've only taken tylenol once because I just couldn't get any relief with anything else.
Yep, lots of headaches here too. I only had one headache (it lasted two or three days) with DD around 14 weeks and didn't have another headache until we quit breastfeeding at 17 months so I kind of expected that this pregnancy would be the same and it was one of the big things I told my husband I was excited about since I tend to get headaches a lot throughout my cycles. No such luck. Almost daily headaches for weeks. Sucks.
Day 5 of headaches and I gave up and called my doc and got a prescription. I took it 2 1/2 hours ago and I still feel like crap. My husband told me yesterday that he wants to go back to the nausea because headaches make me mean... Oops!!
I get really bad headaches all the time, and something that helped me was reflexology, or foot zoning. Go to someone who's worked on pregnant ladies before, and I it can really help!
Yes! This has helped for me too. I got a hot/cold pack from Rite Aid and it helps for tension headaches to use it as a hot pack on the back of my neck/shoulders, then as a cold pack on my forehead.
My first pregnancy I had migraines every single day for my whole second trimester. Unfortunately it's caused by hormone changes and there's not much you can do besides take Tylenol or try oils. Nothing worked for me
Starting 2nd trimester tomorrow..... Yes I have been having headaches and I realized it was because the lack of caffeine. My doctor said it is okay to still have a little coffee. So I have my half cup every morning. I don't have any more headaches AND if helps me stay awake longer
