14w3d ultrasound. Measurements??

Hello ftm here :) at my ultrasound last week at 14w3d the baby measured at 15cm and this seems longer than others who I know are due around the same time. This appears to be longer than what the average growth charts say. Should I be concerned?? What were your measurements around this time?

    In the same way that I'm 5"3 and my best friends 5"2 but we are the same age... Babies can measure taller/shorter at this stage. They have a range of measurements for each stage, not one specific measurement. I wouldn't be worried as if the sonographer was- it would have come up. You may just have a tall baby, or your baby's length may calm down later on. You can always bring it up at your next appointment if it's still on your mind, but I wouldn't be concerned :-)

    Are you or the father tall? Could be you just have a tall baby! If your doctor wasn't concerned, you're probably fine.

    Babies grow in spurts. It could have just had one.
    Also the measurement depends on who did it and exactly from where they measured. They can be off by some. I wouldn't worry if your doctor isn't.
