  I am very sorry that you are worried but I think you're jumping ahead of yourself. I know that you were saying that because this is your second pregnancy that you know the difference between movement and gas. However, science would beg to differ and would tell you that you cannot feel the baby moving at eight to nine weeks. If you are certain that I am wrong and science is wrong, try drinking a glass of orange juice and see if you feel the same "movements."
  
  I really don't think that you need to be worried about having lost the baby. If you have not been having cramping that is severe and bleeding like the flow of a period, then I truly think you have no reason for concern.

  You weren't feeling the baby move at 8 weeks, it's highly unlikely at 11 weeks either. That's why you can't feel it. It's phantom movements you are feeling, the brain is pretty powerful at making us feel things you want to but actually aren't. Your baby is fine I'm sure.

  You won't feel movement to early on in pregnancy, when I was pregnant with my 2nd child I started to feel movements around 16/17 weeks and that was classed as early as they say with ur second you can feel it earlier but 8/11 weeks is way to early probably even with triplets

  I'm having stretches right now that feel like fluttery bubbles. It's definitely not the baby I'm feeling, it's my uterus expanding. And I go for quite a while without feeling it. Like a whole week, then the stretch pops come back. But I could see how they'd be confused with movement. Hope you're able to put your mind at ease.

  Movements at 8-9wks is defiantly a no. You can argue till your blue in face that you have felt baby move. But fact is you can't. 11wks it's possible but highly unlikely.
  This is baby number 3 for me I'm 24wks & can honestly say that I didn't start to feel baby move till 20wks & even now they are still not regular. They are spontaneous. You don't start to feel baby movements regular till around 26+ wks. So I really wouldn't stress & worry about it. But if your adamant that you are then go see your Dr.

  I haven't felt movement yet either, with my lady pregnancy it wasn't until maybe 16 weeks and even then it was few and far between. I wouldn't worry yet, also remember that every pregnancy can be different. I know this one is much different than my first so far. I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow.

  Insensitive and mean? I think they were just trying to ease her fears by explaining that it's completely normal not to feel the baby at 11 weeks.

  @mirissa25 i dont think any ones comments have been insensitive or mean. I merely pointed out there is no need to worry over movements yet which is truth. I didnt comment on the mmc part as i have zero knowledge of it.

  I kind of feel something every so often. I am 11 weeks and low in my uterus i sometimes feel a gentle pressing on one side or the other. Second pregnancy and very body aware. I just feel what i feel. Looking forward to feeling those for sure, unmistakable movements in the upcoming weeks.
  
  OP: dont even worry. Remember your body's main function in life is to get pregnant and stay pregnant. If you arent experiencing miscarriage symptoms you are likely not miscarrying.

  Mmmmk. So science says it is going to take me approximately 40 weeks to grow this baby but I know it is only going to take me 27 to get to full term because, well, science isnt always right and I like the number 27 better.
  
  If I were to post that for realz, I should just expect people to roll with it? Sorry. Science is science. Yes, some things have been and could be disproven but this is not one if them.
  
  And check your definition of mean. Im pretty sure cursing and telling everyone to shut the fuck up is far more mean than quoting science.

  I just could have sworn up and down I did feel baby moving because it would only be when I was laying on my left side and I would feel something move. But I haven't in a few days. Who knows. Not going to think about t until my appointment.

  No one said anything to insult the OP, if anything they kept her best interest at heart and were telling her actual facts so that she wouldn't worry or stress.
  You are implying she SHOULD be worried and stressed because "science isn't always right". ?????

  @hunterparty4 glad you havent taken offence, as i think everyone was just trying to reasure that not feeling the baby, does not mean anything terrible has happened. Remain positive i no its such a long wait inbetween appoitments. Try and Put it to the back of your mind relax and enjoy your pregnancy

  That is incredibly insulting. A lot of us have been very kind, patient and helpful to you by answering your threads and giving you support and advice. So I find that post a slap in the face. Just because someone disagrees, or answers with science, does not mean they are rude or mean. Saying that people are hormonal and over the top, now that's kinda rude.

  If it's happening when you lie on your left side, it probably is your digestive system. This is totally tmi, but even before I got pregnant, I would lie on my left side when I was having abdominal cramps to get things shifting. It has to do with density and the fact that the last part of your large intestine is angled upward in that position. Kinda gross, but it's true!

  I honestly agree with @kleshelle there's been some threads that ppl take things and run with it I just ignore those threads.. Of course lost my threads do unanswered and I got told on one of my threads my life is to much drama because I explained something that was going on in my life that has been very hard for me to handle and I can't really talk to my friends or family about.. But I don't think anyone should take offense to anything just the ones that are rude at every post
