Holy Ta-Tas. (And a bra recommendation!)

Anyone else already have huge boobs? Yikes.

I had a very large chest for my frame, I'm 5'7", 112 lbs, and used to wear a 32E, which ended up at a lopsided 32H after nursing my first one. We thought we were one-and-done, so I had a breast reduction. Lo and behold, 4 years later here we are with #2 on the way (on purpose!). My happy little 32Bs are already ballooning up, so I had to run and get a new bra while traveling. Pressed for time, I just ran into Target, and ended finding this gem for $16.99! Hello, comfort and shape. I can't stand wires.

  • Thanks for the suggestion! I'm about to go up a bra size because I only have one left that still fits. I wish I knew what size to order though...I guess go up a cup size and not the band size?  Does that make sense?! I'm a 36D right now, so I should order 36DD?  I did NOT think the boobs would grow so much so fast!

Yes you should go up a cup size unless your band is feeling tight. I've gone from a DDD to a (american) G. UGH! I miss my tiny (to me) boobs.

I can't decide if I should go up yet or not. I'm normally a 32A (on a good day). My right boob has definitely doubled in size but my left hasn't grown at all. With my son I was a B when I got pregnant, a C and went up in band size by 3rd tri, and a D when nursing.

I went recently to Pink by Victoria Secret. Right now they're having a bra sale; 2 bras for $42.50. Plus they were running a promotion where if you got their credit card they took $15 off your purchase and gave you a coupon for a free bra in June.

So I got 2 great quality bras for about $30 after tax, and I'll be able to use my coupon next month to get another.

Might be worth checking out. Even if you don't get the credit card, $42.50 for 2 VS bras is a great price!
  • Wacoal is an awesome brand for big tatas. They're expensive, but you can usually find them on clearance at Macy's. I have a non - padded one, and the cup is flexible enough that I can even nurse in it.

First off, anyone over a C should be shopping at Linda's Online. I won't buy my bras anywhere else, mostly because no one sells them. 5'3, 34FF here. Remember, bras are an investment! Also a very helpful sizing guide there - so easy!

This is the bra I'm wearing now: https://www.lindasonline.com/simone-perele-andora-minimizer-bra-131382.html

And it's like wearing NOTHING. No popping out, don't even feel the wires (which I wouldn't even know how to go without anyway), and it can take some upsizing :) Waiting for the same brand strapless to come in, looking forward to it!

Edit: thought of more boob stuff

  • This is a terrifying thread, lol. I'm a 34FF and usually my bras are a little too small during my period. That's happening now but they are already feeling even more uncomfortable than normal. I'm worried I'm going to need to buy new bras way too soon.

Nordstrom's has a great selection of higher sizes and barenecessities.com does as well.

Pre pregnancy I'm 36DDD, I'm horrified they'll grow even larger because they cause back and shoulder issues as it is. X_X

Pre-pregnancy I'm a 38 DDD, I feel like I'm busting out already. I started out as a B with my first & ended up a DD, I'm nervous as to how big they are going to get!
  • I've always been a top heavy individual, and hard to fit. The best tip I can give, is talk to sales people at the maternity shops. There are often very affordable, but excellent custom shops. I for one could never buy online. Also, if you're kind of between sizes, or having back/neck issues, bralettes, or similar garments can help hold things in place, as well as distribute weight more evenly. Best of luck!

I'm a 42i and I have to special order as it is. I use this great shop that caters to breast cancer patients. They are able to get in soft wire free bras that keep your back from hurting. I just ordered 2 cup sizes up so hopefully that will get me to August.
  • @maevefire what's the name of the company?
