Keep calm and go 40!

I never realized how important it was to keep LO's cooking to full term until I had my daughter 11 weeks early. She weighed just under 2 pounds at birth and spent 52 days in the NICU. Now, 8 weeks later we have an amazingly healthy 4 pounder who we finally got to bring home yesterday! Although I know it's getting rather uncomfortable and you want to meet your LO so bad, don't wish away your last few weeks as they still need to get stronger to come into this crazy world! Here's to happy, healthy and adorable babies. Good luck everyone!!!

  • I needed to hear this, 39 weeks tomorrow and am getting excited by every little sign then let down when it doesn't progress. I'm so glad you got to bring her home and she is doing well!
  • I love this message and thank you for sharing your story. I always tell myself that LO will come when she's ready regardless of how I'm feeling.

My circle of friends and family already know not to ask me a damn thing, lol. She'll get here when she gets here!

Glad your precious baby is better and all of my best to you. :)
  • Thank you so much for sharing this. At 38 1/2 weeks I needed this reminder that I shouldn't be so selfish about wanting baby girl in my arms- what's best for her is for me to wait until she is ready!
