Varicose Veins! Boooo :(

I just found a small section of varicose veins at my ankle. My current job requires me to stand for hours on end... So it's definitely taking a toll on me now. I'm sad to see it starting, which means there are probably more on the way! :(
Anyone else noticing varicose veins? Did they go away after pregnancy?

Maybe I need to invest in compression socks now? Lol.

    I had one in my leg before pregnancy and noticed one in my ankles/feet about 2 weeks ago. Besides working out and everyday tasks/errands I'm not on my feet all day but conpression socks may help you. FTM, but I think they will probably get a little better after pregnancy but if not there are procures to help get rid of them. My dermatologist said to wait until I'm done having kids before paying to have anything taken care of since they will probably just come back when I get pregnant again.

    I already had a few before getting pregnant, but it has gotten worse. I'm hopeful that they'll go away after giving birth (at least the new ones). Compression socks can't hurt! I may invest in some myself. Although my big problem is that I always cross my legs when sitting. It's so bad for your circulation and I'm trying to break the habit but it's really hard!

    I don't have varicose veins but I went ahead and bought compression hose because of the swelling in my ankles. They work miracles! I definitely say get them. Some insurances cover 20-30 for varicose veins too. If you only need 15-20 then its out of pocket.

    I have one that I call Bertha from about week 10. She grows every weeks and now runs the full length of my leg. She itches and throbs a bit when I wake up in the morning. I was pregnant once before. She was smaller but went away completely at the end. Hoping for that this time. But definitely willing to have a procedure done to get rid of her. I am silly for not having compression socks. It's on my to do list right after find a pediatrician and a day care.
