at the end of my rope for the day

So, a year ago my DH and I rented a two bdrm apartment for us and 8yr DS. Since then, we have DD due in August, and my 13yr old SIL moved in with us 3 months ago. our lease is up in a week. We can go month to month, but as you can imagine people are crowded. Trying to find a place has proved difficult. We need a minimum of three bedrooms (if sharing with DD) for a while. Where we live, these are expensive and rare. We nearly rented a house nearby, but landlord rented to someone who looked at it a couple of hours before we did (after emailing us a copy of rental agreement). At the moment, DH is at work, and I'm trying not to flip out while eating a cupcake.

Sorry, just needed to vent.

I'm sorry. Just remember, everything happens for a reason - something better will come along! Check out www.realtor.com they have a rentals section as well as the for sale. Good luck!

We were in the same boat, needing to find a bigger place that was within our budget. We lost out on a couple of houses because they were rented to someone who got to look at them first. I was super stressed and felt like we'd never find a place! Then we found a place we loved, thought we might miss out on that one too but this landlord was interested in picking the best tenant possible, not the first one that came along! After seeing our credit and rental history, he even agreed to hold the house an extra month for us! We move in July 1. I know how stressful this can be when you so badly want to know where you're going to be living but it will all work out!!!

I hope so. Going through this sucks without being pregnant. My hormones are just making it worse.
