    Hi ladies!!

    1. Jill, NC

    2. TTC #1 for a long time...

    3. All the usual: charting/temping, OPK's, prenatals, lots and lots and lots of vitamins, increasing protein intake, cutting back on carbs, exercise, etc.

    4. I'm currently at CD35 and 9 or 11dpo. My O-date was tricky to pin down but I am proud to say I DID in fact ovulate based on the 7dpo progesterone test. I've been super impatient so have been testing the past couple days with the super cheap tests. Nothing yet but I know it's too early still...

    5. This is the most hopeful and excited I've been in a long time, especially since I haven't ovulated since January! I'm trying to keep my excitement in check as I know that just because I ovulated and have a high progesterone level (34.0) it doesn't guarantee a successful pregnancy. But still, everything is in place, we had really good timing, and I'm just hoping and praying that this is my time!

No exciting plans this weekend - I'm going to be in rehearsal for most of the time. Preparing for our big end of the year show!

    Good luck to everyone!!
ME: 36 (PCOS), DH: excellent SA
NTNP since 11/12, actively trying since 8/14
    m/c @ 7w (4/22/14), m/c @ 6w (11/19/14)
11/15: Letrozole, Ovidrel, TI = BFP!!!
    Beta #1(14dpo)=349, Beta #2(18dpo)=2,805
12/17/15: Got to see the heartbeat (105bpm)!
    1/25/16: NT scan = normal (HB=163bpm)
    EDD: 8/10/16
    8/8/16: Baby boy born @ 12:25am, 8lbs, 20.5 inches
    5/18/17: BFP!!! (11dpo)
    Beta #1(12dpo)=176.4, Beta #2(15dpo)=607.1

    Hi everyone!
I'm new here but have made a few posts including an introduction one so hopefully this is ok ;)

    1. My name is Caroline but most people call me Cara, and I live in Arizona.

    2. TTC #1 and have only been trying since last month.

    3. This cycle just trying OPK since last month was our first try we didn't try any extra help of any kind, so OPK will be a little something new to try this time.

    4. Currently waiting to O - expected to June 4th according to my tracking app but we shall see!

    5. I feel hopeful about this cycle because of the use of OPK this time but also I'm a worrier and feel like this might not be so easy. Still, in the back of my mind tho I have that "but it could!!!" So I'm conflicted.

QOTW: There's an amazing cold summer "salad" type of recipe that I love, and actually it can be eaten as is but we love it with tortilla chips.

    1 can of corn
    1 can of black beans
    6 chopped Roma tomatoes
    2 avocados
    2/3 Cup chopped cilantro
    8 chopped green onion stalks

    Toss all of that with
    1/4 cup olive oil
    1/4 cup red wine vinegar
    2 garlic cloves minced
1 teaspoon cumin (but I use more, this is a key ingredient and it makes it taste amazing!)
    Salt and pepper to taste

Just mix all together and use tortilla chips as a spoon ;)

    5. Just and wait and see mode -- no expectations either way.

QOTW: Love grilled spring onions and this is the season for them! Cut the bulb in half, keeping the greens attached. Brush on olive oil, salt and pepper and grill. Yum!!

@jilligan14 - I have everything crossed for you!

    1. suziq1978, central IL

    2. TTC#4, cycle 9

    3. charted cm and sex this month, decided not to temp again which results in more sex.

    4. 2WW - I think I'm 10dpo, not for sure since I didn't temp.  AF should show up today or tomorrow.  I've been super moody so I'm expecting her any time now.  Plus, today I just feel like she's on her way.

    5. Meh - I've basically given up at this point.  Sorry to be so negative, I just don't think it's gonna happen and I'm trying to make myself be ok with that.

QOTW: Can't believe it is already going to be Memorial Day weekend. What are some grilling or bbq'ing recipes and/or tips you have?  And do you have anyone you will be honoring this Memorial Day that you want to share?

H does all of the grilling so I don't have any good recipes.

    Hello everyone!

    1. BulgariHeart. Bicoastal

    2. Minus 1 cycle to TTC baby #1. I'm going to ask the husband if we can give it a shot while on vacation since we're going to hit my fertile week and it seems so perfect!

    3. Charting, temping, OPKs and CM. I also started taking Chaste Berry drops after my last LP was a mere 10 days.

    4. Waiting to O.

    5. If my DH agrees to start trying already (!) then I will be feeling hopeful and excited!

QOTW: Sorry, I don't have any good grilling recipes as we city folks hardly ever grill :) We're going to have a busy long week end and on my spare time I'm going to focus on our to trip-related to-do list, which gets longer and longer...

    1. Your Name or Screen Name (not full names) and State you are from.

    Tomerine, Massachusetts

    2. How long have you been TTC? Are you TTC #1,#2,#3, etc.?

TTC #2, for about 6 months

    3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE?

Temping, OPKs, waiting... and more waiting

    4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?

2WW.  Will test on the 30th... probably.  I feel superstitious almost about testing.  I always want to wait longer, I think to prolong disappointment?  I usually have signs before AF actually starts, so if I haven't started spotting by the 30th, I'll start the mental debate with myself about testing.

    5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)

Hopeful up to and through O, now less positive in the 2WW.  Does anyone else feel this way?  It's a pattern for me.  I am hopeful, just a lot less so.

QOTW: Can't believe it is already going to be Memorial Day weekend. What are some grilling or bbq'ing recipes and/or tips you have?  And do you have anyone you will be honoring this Memorial Day that you want to share?

Sadly, we don't even have a grill, but I think I will be trying @carazona5 's recipe!  yum.

    2. TTC #2 for 11 months

    3. Attempted IUI #5 but I over-stimulated.

    4. Waiting to O, but I'm guessing I won't do it on my own for a while.  If I don't ovulate by next week, I think they'll start me on Provera to "quiet everything down in there."  I'm also guessing I'll end up with cysts and be benched again.  I'm choosing to look at the positive - my old ovaries can actually over-respond!!  WOW!

    5. Bummed, but better than the beginning of the week.

I listened to an interview with an RE that had done research on the effects of diet on egg quality and they found that a diet high in protein (>25%) improved egg quality. I haven't had a chance to look the paper(s) up myself and fully evaluate the science. But i was impressed with the interview and i already eat a pretty high protein and veggie diet so i have just been dialing up the proteins a notch more.

That's so interesting @dolphin012.  I'm still relatively sure that my weight loss impacted my over-response to the meds this cycle, but I've also been eating a diet MUCH lower in carbs (especially refined carbs) and higher in protein and veggies, so hopefully when we fine-tune so I don't have 17 follies, I'll have a good egg too! :)  Thanks for sharing that tidbit.

Totally! This has become a pattern for me, too.

Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!
fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP!
Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

TTC #3, second cycle after a miscarraige

    3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE?
PNVs, OPKs, temping, charting CM, CoQ-10, baby aspirin, sex at least EOD

    4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?
CD 14.  I think I"m waiting to O; FF thinks I Oed on CD8.  I also think FF is pretty off on this one.

    5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
I'm always hopeful, I guess.  If FF is right about CD8, our timing has been pretty good.  If not, we're doing what we can.

QOTW: Can't believe it is already going to be Memorial Day weekend. What are some grilling or bbq'ing recipes and/or tips you have?  And do you have anyone you will be honoring this Memorial Day that you want to share?
Grilled peaches with honey over vanilla ice cream-yum!

Fingers crossed for all of the ladies in the 2WW.  Hope we see some BFPs soon!
