Category B is good ? I was prescribed metronidazole, they said it was class B . Just making sure

Yes category b means the medication is safe in pregnancy

Bactrim is class D in pregnancy - it's not recommended unless you have no other option

To clarify - A is safest, then B, C, and D. Anything that is an absolute no is labeled "X"

Pretty sure Bactrim is a sulfa drug. Sulfa is one of those that lots of people are allergic to... I speak from experience... Hives ALL over!! Worst experience ever!
