FF Inverse Colors function?!

So yeah I'm still waiting for my period *taps foot* and thus I can neither drink nor celebrate, sigh. All of the classic symptoms are there. To distract myself, I decided to take a gander at other people's successes. I would never post an HPT pic here, but to be honest, they don't bother me. I'm not necessarily advocating that we should have them because if people started posting their CM pics, I would die. But that's neither here nor there. What I have discovered in FF's gallery of HPTs is the Inverse Colors options.

You better believe I just tried it out and WOW! Still not pregnant but holy crap does that make everything more clear. Did everyone else already know about this? Is there a way to do this with Paint or a simple program on your computer? Not thrilled by the idea of uploading pics of all of my HPTs... but tempted...

DH is a teetotaler under non-TTC circumstances. This has been a point of contention between us as of late. I may sneak a glass here or there but not this late in a cycle, sigh. Appreciate the support though, ladies!

Not that I've ever had an issue of being able to read a negative HPT, I never thought of using the inverse color option (I believe that filter comes standard now with iPhones) as way to see if there is or isn't a second line. Good to know - hopefully I'll have the opportunity to try that out soon.

Scroll down to "browse galleries" and then select pregnant. Click on any image, and right beneath it, there's an "Inverse Colors" button. It's madness!

@everycol0r @jmak5 It's definitely an archaic term if not an archaic way of thinking! But I don't think there's a better term out there, really. He's not a non-drinker, since he used to love his beer and scotch. He's phased out alcohol over the last year. It really surprised me, especially since I have no plans to join him.

There is a free pregnancy test checker app for your phone that can "tweak" HPT. They have the "black light" or inverse feature. I am well acquainted the tools. I guess that says how much time I've spent helping friends & cruising baby center. Lol!

OP, yes you can invert colors in paint. It is in one of the tool bars but I'm on my mac so I'm not help right now.

I know this because I used to draw crazy black lines all over the drawing board, fill the spaces in with random colors, then invert them to the "cool" colors. Anyone else or was I the only one able to amuse myself for hours on paint as a teen?

Guessing that app isn't available for android...couldn't find it in Google play... Also still not understanding the whole inverting color thing...

I also had problems with my Android, sigh.

In my third post in this thread, I explained how to get the Inverse Colors Function on FF. Did that work for you?

Just to be clear, why do you *need* to invert the colors again? Yes, FF may have it as an option (not sure why...), but why are you using it? Do you have a special form of color vision, by chance?

I'm assuming it's to possibly catch a really faint second line.

Exactly. If you go through the galleries on FF, a lot of the "pregnancy" pee stick photos don't look pregnant at all with regular colors. At least, not to me. But when you inverse the colors, you can see the second faint line (growing stronger when women post many days of sticks).
