Hi everyone! Sorry this is late- work is getting busier and busier! If I'm slacking feel free to start the thread without me

I hope all the twin/ multiple mommas will keep posting here, I feel as if our numbers are dwindling each week!

Week/Fruits: 24w5d- cantaloupe or pregnant chicken says foot long subs

Twin Type (Identical/Fraternal/etc): di/di girls

Symptoms: heartburn, still some cramping, feeling HUGE

Appointment AW: I have an ultrasound on the 28th and OB appt after At which point my appointments will go to every 2 weeks which makes me feel better. I saw my OB this week due to menstrual cramping and had a manual cervix check done (fun) and she said everything was good. Trying to up my water intake even though I'm drinking tons!

Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: size wise, I can't imagine how I'm going to look 10 weeks from now. I feel like I look like I'm 38 weeks already!! Really happy now for every week that goes by, it's one more week the babies stayed put and grew stronger. I'm terrified of preterm labor.

GTKY: What comment(s) have annoyed you most from people about having twins? A coworker told me yesterday that she is "so jealous I will get to relax all summer" um, really?!? First of all, I'm due at the very end of the summer and second of all, I wasn't aware taking care of two infants would be relaxing?! People are cray.

Symptoms: Back/hip pain

Appointment AW: Meet new OBGYN on Tuesday.

Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: Why do none of the stores carry any of the twin specific products? Also, what are people being told for an ideal weight gain? I was just told 40 pounds (gained 12 so far).

GTKY: What comment(s) have annoyed you most from people about having twins? Tired of everyone assuming I'll end up on bed rest. Also hate the "better you then me" comments.

Week/Fruits: 24 weeks 3 days...cantelopes

Symptoms allergies have gotten terrible heartburn

Appointment AW: since now I am at home on bedrest I go in for appointments 3 times a qeek. One for the doctor one for cervical ultrasound to check length since there has been shortening and for nst.

Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: concerned that babies are causing to much pressure on cervix and will come early. Baby a is so low that it is on my cervix and baby b keeps squirming down into my pelvis as well, which is causing so many problems

GTKY: What comment(s) have annoyed you most from people about having twins? That my skin/stomach hurt all the time fro. Stretching and people think it's just ok to rub my stomach without asking. Even at the doctors office!! I want to throat punch them as I tell them that they need to ask before placing there hands on me. I am a person not a pet.

My babies are 22 weeks

Heartburn has started and some minor swelling

No changes since last week for appointments

No comments/concerns but we did finally get a van so my babies will all fit in one place

I am the same amount of rotundness as the week I delivered DS and people keep asking how many days until my due date. It makes me feel huge.

Week/Fruits: 22w1d papayas

Twin Type (Identical/Fraternal/etc): mo/di girls

Symptoms: first round of heart burn 2 nights ago, ouch! Lots of back/hip pain

Appointment AW: started bi-weekly ultrasounds yesterday to check growth, fluids and cord blood flow. Reg OB appt next Friday.

Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: has anyone started narrowing down name choices?! DH came
home the other day and found a name he liked and I had thought of one too, turns out they're super similar and I never wanted to have matchy twin names but now I sort of like them both. I always thought picking 2 names would be easier, man I was wrong!

GTKY: What comment(s) have annoyed you most from people about having twins? I hate the "are you sure there's two in there?!" comments. Yes I get I'm small but I'm a small person and I know how many babies I'm having!!

Identical girls

I have an appointment with maternal fetal medicine on Wednesday and I HATE not knowing what to expect!

I'm feeling very tired, and big! I want my toes painted but I can't bend over to do them! :-(

Week/Fruits: 22w4d, papayas
Twin Type: Di/Di fraternal boys
Symptoms: More hip pain when sleeping
Comments/Concerns: Now there is a 16% size difference between the boys and the heart rate of the smaller twins has slowed a bit. The doctor didn't seemed concerned but it makes me a bit nervous. Cervix is looking good and actually lengthened, so that's a win!
GTKY: People assume two babies are the same one and have no idea the risks involved in twin pregnancy/birth.

Symptoms: braxton hicks, periodic heartburn,

Appointment AW:
June 1st

Questions/Comments/Complaints/Concerns: walking for long periods kills me. Pelvic pain and hip pain. And I feel absolutely huge already.

GTKY: What comment(s) have annoyed you most from people about having twins? Everywhere I go the bump gets me attention! I hate the "twins! Good luck with that!" Comments. Or the "its going to be a long summer for you" Um, yeah no shit Sherlock!
