HELP.. iui question

hello everyone,

I'm in a weird predicament, I am almost ending my first cycle with the fertility clinic and today the nurse gave me options and I'm really skeptical and not sure what to do. Last week I was given 100mg of clomid to take for 5 days (I found out I had polycystic ovaries) after the second checkup I had after my medication the nurse said my body took to well and I have to many mature eggs, she gave me two options to cancel this cycle and refrain from intercourse (she said I can have more then 2 babies) or I can do a procedure where they remove most of the eggs (or folicals) and then preform the iui. Now the reason why I'm skeptical is because all my tests haven't came back yet nor has my husbands, I'm nervous because what if we can naturally have children on our own with the help of hormones or not? Why waste 900$ when we never received the results? Or am I wrong for thinking this? Should I just continue to have intercourse and see what happens?

(She did mention if there were multiple babies they would have to remove the extra and keep only 2, she then called me back and said the doctor removed that option and left the 2 options I stated above)

Thank you for taking the time to read, please help :(

From what I have seen, a lot of pcos girls have pretty good luck with iui or times sex with clomid. You very well could get pregnant with multiples. If you're willing to take that risk, then go for it. I have made up to 5 eggs on 50mg of clomid before and still did the iui but I never got pregnant from iui. It's really up to you. If you don't want to waste the money you have spent, but don't want to risk high order multiples, then puncturing the extras is a good option.

I did 3 rounds of Clomid with multiple follicles each time... First time we tried naturally, then 2 IUIs following. Didn't get pregnant. I thtink you should try what you think feels right to you. If this is your last round of Clomid maybe trying the IUI would be giving you the highest chance for success. Good luck!
