pregnant after miscarriage no af... hcg high but dropped!?!?

Miscarriage February 18th took a pregnancy test on May 6th and it came back positive. Kind scared because I have no idea how far along I am since I never had af... They did a test to follow my numbers down after miscarriage on March 5th and they were zero. I was thinking I was only 6 weeks 5 days but last week they did a blood test on Wednesday and it was 110,888 but dropped by 3,000 two days later.... Am I farther along than I think? I know hcg declines and then plateaus... Maybe vanishing twin?

    Without a dating ultrasound there is no way to know how far along you are. I would guess with a vanishing twin that your numbers would still go up though, just not by as much. :(
