I posted this on another thread regarding ways to get baby positioned for birth and thought it may be helpful for you. Look into chiropractors in your area certified in the Webster Technique - https://birthwithoutfearblog.com/2012/07/10/how-the-webster-technique-can-help-you-birth-without-fear/. I see mine at least once a week and not only is it like a mini massage, my previous back and hip pain is greatly reduced, and baby is head down.
I just started a couple of weeks ago and i honestly wish I would've started from day 1. I was having some severe mid back pain which is why I started going but more than anything he has helped my hips. They were basically in constant pain but I had just sort of assumed there was nothing I could do. Wrong!
I would just be sure to find someone that does a lot of prenatal.
If you have someone you recommend in SF please share. My back and hips are killing me. I had a chiro in the Central Valley that I wish would move here!

My sister in law is trained in this method & as soon as we told people we were expecting I've been seeing her every 2-3 weeks & I have had minimal back pain my entire pregnancy. I sleep well. It's amazing what getting adjusted can do for you IF you go to the correct person. Best of luck!
I've been going every 2-3 weeks and it helps SO much!! I get my hips re-aligned and its amazing. All this side sleeping is really putting a number on my left hip. I used to be a back and tummy sleeper. I also love that fact that when I go, they adjust their table so I am able to lay on my belly! It's amaz! The first time I laid down, I was like, Holy Boobs, get out of my way!! That'll be interesting once the breastfeeding starts!
Remember, Adjustments or any muscle manipulation done should never be painful or uncomfortable. Be honest and communicate with your chiropractor! If you have pain that originated from an adjustment either contact the office or your doctor immediately.
