Too early to buy baby's pram?!?!

Hello, this is my first pregnancy and very excited as well as nervous, I will be 16 weeks on Sunday and have seen a travel system that I like and want to purchase. Some family members feel it's a but early to buy it now. I am feeling slightly confused about what to do now as I have the funds to do it now and it will be 3-5 weeks before it is dispatched anyway. When is the right time to do this?! Any advice on this would be greatly received. TIA

    I love that you called it a pram! I've been watching Call the Midwife, and this made me think of that! Buying it this early means you'll get a chance to roll it around a bit and make sure you love it.

    Every time someone tells me that it's too early to buy something for the baby I just think even if something goes wrong with this pregnancy I'll keep trying! It's not like loosing a baby means you're never going to have one.

    I've already purchased the 4moms mamaroo and breeze play pen and I'm only 12 weeks. We are looking at travel systems and will buy soon as a friend of mine can get 50% off Graco products. Not sure how long she will be working there so we are buying soon and keeping the receipt just in case. We don't have much room for storage so just stacking boxes in a corner for now.

    Just bought mine today at buy buy baby. City mini set with stroller and car seat. Made by babyjogger. it's a brand new set that just came out! I'm 17 weeks. Probably a little early but we were registering and would rather not go back if I don't need to for awhile! My mom is also chipping in for this gift so I new we wouldn't put it on our registery. However there are add ons that we did!
