Dr appt yesterday :(

I'm supposed to be 4wks and 3 days and at the drs yesterday they said they tried 3 pg tests and hey were neg. sent me for a HCG test and last night found out it's only 99. :( they said it's very low so I guess this is the beginning of the end for us :(

    If you are not bleeding/cramping I wouldn't give up yet! It dosn't make much sense that their test would be Neg if your HCG is 99. 99 is high enough to be positive on almost any test. My HCG was slow to rise and a sono at 6w5d revealed everything was fine.
    I know the waiting game stinks, see if they will give you 1 or 2 more HCG checks to see if they are rising - if they are at all there is reason to hope!

    I just got my test results back from HCG and mine was 31 so I have to go back in a couple days to get the blood drawn again to see if levels have increased. Just trying to keep my head up too :)

    I just took a another stick test and it's much darker so I'm hopeful! The top one is the new one. Good positive vibes for us all!!!

    Well the new positive is a good sign : )
    Hcg level of 99 is still within the normal range for 4-5 weeks. I did lots of research when mine were slow to rise but of course Im not a doctor. Maybe there was a misunderstanding when they said "its very low" - they may not have meant it as a sign tht its doomed...
    Take some breaths and keep up hope! Hopefully if you have another hcg test or appt. with your Dr. it will all get sorted out. Good luck!!

    Ok you need to know. the darkness of the line has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING. It is how the dye sample was added. 

    These tests don't measure quantity of anything. They measure simply YES or NO. So if there's a line, it's a YES :) Even if it's barely visible. 

    If you google the manufacturer, they make a point of saying this. I hope this puts your mind at some ease.

    At the lab getting my Hcg levels done. I'm staying positive. I won't get the results till tomorrow though but, it's out of my hands so I'm just gonna meditate and hope for the best. :)
