Worrying

I had to go out today, so I had someone drive me. She accidently drive into a huge pot hole in the road.
My belly hurt bad for a few minutes after, so she drove me home. Now I am having jabbing pains in my cervix area and moderate cramping. I'm getting worried, but I don't want to go to the hospital just to find out that everything is perfectly fine. Not like they can do anything if baby is not okay.
Do you think I should wait and see if anything happens (like bleeding or severe cramps)? Or should I just go in and get checked now?

Trust your instinct.

If it were me I'd probably have a relaxing bath and see how I was feeling in a few hours and go from there.

Ditto on the above sender! Also, if you do start to have cramps then you can always call the after hours line for your OB to get some advice instead of going to the ER. Hope everything works out and it was just a scare..

I'd drink some water and put my feet up for a bit. If you aren't feeling better call the nurses line at your doctor's office. Baby should be very cushioned right now so it may not be relation to the pothole.

I agree. I hit a huge pothole a few weeks ago with no issues. Except for having to but a new tire and worrying I taught my toddler a new word that starts with "F" everything was fine. I'd wait it out and see how you feel in a few hours.

Going to hospital. Cramps and pains have been getting increasingly worse and now I am suddenly bleeding very heavily.
Nausea is fading away and I haven't vomited since we hit the pot hole and I usually vomit 10+ times a day.
I think this is goodbye.

Feel it out. Maybe a warm bath some tlc will do. If it doesnt get better u would definitely head to the hospital

Just give yourself a little time to relax. Lay down and see if it goes away. If you don't feel better in a bit I would go get checked out just to be on the safe side. Better to be safe. Hope everything is ok

Things aren't looking good, unfortunately. I am on strict bed rest. Baby's heart rate is very low. They are concerned that the bleeding may be coming from the placenta. The cramping has finally stopped, and I'm vomiting like crazy today.
I believe they are referring me to a different city for further diagnostic ultrasounds.

That makes me wonder if maybe you had a hematoma that ruptured when you hit the pothole? Not sure if that is possible or not. FX everything straightens itself out.
