Possible preeclampsia at 38 weeks

I went for my weekly checkup yesterday. There was a little protein in my urine and my BP was high, so there's of course a concern about preeclampsia. I have a follow up on Friday.
I'm not too worried, as I'm so close to the finish line, I'm just wondering what happens next? For those of you who may have experience with this, were you just monitored until baby came naturally? Were you induced?

    I had preeclampsia at 36 weeks and 4 days with my first DD. They immediately hospitalized me to monitor me until I made it to 37 weeks and then I was induced. If your doctor was extremely concerned you would have been ushered over to the hospital and been induced. Unfortunately though, with preeclampsia things can change quickly. So be aware of the symptoms and if things get worse go back to your doctor ASAP.

    I too just turned 38 weeks and am being checked for preeclampsia. My BP was high at my appt Monday and they sent me home to do a 24 hr urine test. Dropped that off this morning and will get a call tomorrow. I am already scheduled for an induction next Thursday due to my extreme pupps rash but depending on the urine test results that induction will be pushed up if I have preeclampsia. My doctor said that this late in the game we would go straight to induction rather than monitor it for a while.

    I had preeclampsia- my blood pressure was high for a few weeks and there was a little bit of protein in my urine. 36 weeks and my blood pressure was higher and there was more protein in my urine- they delivered my twins Via c section that day. - the only cure is delivery. My blood pressure is fine now and it's been 1 week.
