November 2015 Moms

Any early November moms still sick?

hey everyone-
I'm 16 weeks today and my nausea and vomiting is getting increasingly worse!!
There was a few days last week I thought I was finally in the clear, but nope-
Can't even keep down ensure shakes!
Who else is still sick? Anything that's been helping you?
My diclegis stopped working for me.
I'm just losing a little hope and going a little crazy over here.
Xx

Re: Any early November moms still sick?

  • I am almost 16 weeks 2 days away and I am still sick. I've been using Altoids and Zofran they are my best friends right now.

  • I'm 16 weeks tomorrow I tried to stop my Diclegis at 13/14 weeks and I was very sick. Luckily I started taking it again and it's working
  • I'm at 15 weeks and feeling much better.  I did not feel better in the 2nd trimester with my first.  I've since realized some of my problem was acid stomach and that tums are my friend.  That's helped this time around as well since I still occasionally get sick.

  • 15 weeks today and still vomiting every morning. I'm fine during the night and day except for a bit of nausea sometimes but the mornings I always seem to hae to vomit. Guess it's just something I'm getting used to!

I'm 16 weeks on Friday, taking Diclectin.  The past three days my nausea has been back big time, and I've been waking up at night feeling sick to my stomach.  Really nauseous all day today, and dry heaving a few times.  Came home to check the boards to see if anyone else shared the same.

I have noticed that the days I feel really nauseous, my chest is also more sensitive (ie. sore if I am going up/down stairs at work quickly).  I'm thinking it must just be high hormones?

  • Still sick here. Still taking my diclegis and my doctor suggested Prilosec as well because it may be stomach acid that's making me not feel so well. Waiting for that to kick in. I will be 16w on Thusday.
  • 15 weeks and most of my nausea is gone but food still does not sound good at all. I'll buy something thinking it sounds good then not eat it because it makes my stomach roll
  • Oh the joys.... Thanks for sharing everyone. Glad I'm not alone although I'm sorry to hear about your struggles.
@Jeenyus it might have something to do with the increased blood volume? I feel like that, too
  • Back to being sick after a short reprieve, even vomited...yippee.
  • 16 weeks today, still getting sick 3-5 mornings a week. Not waking up nauseous anymore, but am often triggered by a smell, or post-nasal sinus drainage. Still sucks though, especially when I don't actually feel sick :P
  • I will have one or two good days and then three bad days where I can't hardly get anything down. Hoping it gets better. My doctor said it is a good sign that I am having some good days though and that it should end soon.
  • I'm 16 1/2 weeks... I'm constantly nauseated. And still vomit 2-3 times a week. :(
  • 16 weeks and 3 days here. I'm not feeling nauseated anymore. However, I'm now dealing with feeling dizzy at work. Not much of a trade off.
  • I'm currently 15w 4d and my nausea has settled down just feel sicky first thing in the mornings and sometimes late at night. Also smells are still affecting me a bit esp the smell of Rice cooking.
  • I'm 16 weeks and still feeling sick and throwing up!!

I'm 14 weeks 5 days and I wasn't throwing up, up until a week ago. That's when the vomiting started. Before I use to just gag. No fun
  • 16w 3d here! Still having bouts of nausea & sick first thing in the morning...I was already feeling better way before now with my daughter! Hoping to get more relief soon... [-O<

I'm 18 weeks and 1 day.. still feel nauseated almost every day and puke almost once a day.  I find that mouthwash and gum help because they keep my mouth dry... for some reason, my spit and aftertaste of food is what gets me.
  • 18 weeks! MS went away at 13w and has come back this week. It is not as bad as it was early on, but it still sucks!

  • 15w5d and still sick at least once a day and nauseous all the time still. Definitely not feeling that boost of energy or heightened libido as described for this time of pregnancy

Hi guys I am just 18 weeks and never had morning sickness in my first 3 months. Now I do get nauseous and gag to a lot smells and food. I hear that as baby is growing hair nails etc. You get more of these symptoms and also you more likely to start getting indigestion issues, hence the nausea. Good luck to all xozoz
  • I'm 18+1 and I been feeling significantly better since week 15. Although, I still get an upset stomach daily and have been very out of breath. I can't take 20 steps without feeling like I walked a mile uphill. My heart also starts racing and I have to sit down. I want to feel 100% normal already. I hate being limited on what I can physically do.
  • im 16wks and 2 days and read that some pregnant women get a minor discharge my question is at how many months is that suppose to start?

Mine has always started early and lasted the whole time.

I thought my symptoms were dissipating but I seem to be throwing up about once a day. I just feel car sick.
I think a lot of it has to do with being at work and not being able to take a break and lay down. The scrolling on the computer doesn't help either.
I'm determined to not take my meds though...I hate taking them. So im kinda just sitting here sick and unproductive.
