Does anyone have a secret that they specifically keep from DH because it will make him mad and/or hurt his feelings? Anything you are taking to the grave with you?

I fake a good bit of orgasms, because DH will get in his head if it takes me too long to have one and then he won't be able to have one. And we are tying to make a baby here. I would NEVER tell him that. He has no idea I fake it.

I can't think of any big secrets- we talk about pretty much everything EXCEPT specifics about our dating/sexual histories. What's the point you know?

This^ DH gets self conscious easily so I have to be careful. I can see he side eyeing me when I do have an orgasm when we are playing with toys. I'm all like "ohh the clitoral ones are just stronger, don't worry"

@ktmitchell11 @mrsdepo I also fake sometimes. I enjoy sex but I have to be in a very specific position to orgasm and it can take a while. And sometimes he will wait for me and we don't always have time for that!

I also have sex dreams with other men. Typically they are not real people - like no one I know and not a celebrity.

I can't really keep a secret so those are it.

Omg I have sex dreams about guys I know in real life. Like DHs friends and crap. I would never act on it or even consciously think about it, but I can't control my dreams! My ex husband was a cheating bastard so I would never EVER do that, but I still feel bad dreaming about it.

I dated our neighbour long, long ago before I ever knew my husband and obviously before we bought our house. It was a very minor relationship, but anyways...... I loved our house so much and knew I should tell him as he would probably find out one day, but I didn't. About a year after moving in the neighbour's girlfriend told my husband. I was so pissed at her and I barely know her, but in hindsight I should have just told him. It's NBD now. Moral of the story honesty is the best policy. Ugh.

My MIL is separated from her husband which isn't a secret by any means. They have told DH and his siblings that they are trying to work things out, but she pulled me aside upset at a family dinner and told me she's filing for divorce by the end of the summer... She made me promise I wouldn't tell DH. He's holding on to them getting back together so it's hard to let him believe that... breaks my heart.

We've NEVER talked about our history and NEVER will. We had a 2-year break in grad school, and have never discussed that period. I'm happy not to know, and equally happy not to tell. Loose lips sink ships, haha.

Definitely faked some orgasms in my day. Sometimes a girl just wants to go to sleep!!

I put $$ in to a credit union each month as a form of savings for Christmas. DH just doesn't know about the extra $50 I put in each month in case I see some super cute shoes I just have to have! He already thinks I shop too much!

We keep everything 100% honest like 99.99% of the time, but DH had been interviewing with an awesome company and we were both so antsy to hear from them that I may have logged into his Gmail to check to see if they sent him anything. He asked me if I had logged into his email and I said that I did, but it happened automatically because the password was the same. He wouldn't have cared anyways since we share passwords, but I didn't want to tell him the truth and put more pressure on him.

He got the job after 6 (yes, freaking SIX!) interviews though! So that's good

I fake 50% of my orgasms. It is NOT easy for me to get one and I don't want to ruin anything because I really enjoy the sex! Orgasm or not.

My "number"... I can't tell my husband of my "number". I'm not exactly shy about the number per se, but rather the short timeframe in which this number became what it has. I'm afraid that my DH will do the math and come to the same conclusion as I have. That is, my ex-husband and my now husband are the only two people I've been with in the last 10 years, as my ex-husband and I got together when I was 19 and my now husband and I started dating very shortly after my ex and I divorced. Anyway, I became sexually active at 16, which DH knows, and that only leaves 3 short years to have gained all the, um, experience I have (minus two, of course!).

What my best friend knows vs. what my husband thinks-- two completely different numbers.

When DH and I first started dating all of his friends with the exception of one forgot his birthday. They all remembered a few days later, but he was really upset no one remembered his birthday. (Facebook was still in its early years.) This was especially hard since the year before he was 600 miles away working a co-op position. For the next 5 birthdays, I secretly texted all of his friends who's phone numbers I had to remind them of his birthday. Those friends then spread the word. He would be so embarrassed if he knew I did that.

@MagicMikki I know exactly how you feel. I lost my virginity at 18, and met DH a month before my 19th birthday... He eventually found out everyone though. We live in a small town!

Same here! I knew a proposal might happen 'soon' because I asked him if I could expect something by the end of the year (this was in summer). I didn't want to get excited or think about it for nothing!

Anyways, I was cleaning up one day, and found the ring box in his drawer. I did not look at the ring though, but a shaneco box could only mean one thing! I think it was there a few weeks or a month before he actually proposed, but I have NEVER said a word. He will never know. I'm proud of myself for not looking at the ring tho haha.

She was being a bitch!!! I literally told her the night before (drunkly at a dance) that I would tell him one day, and the next night she cornered him and told him when I wasn't around. I was furious.

I guess the only secret I've really kept is how much I hated our rehearsal dinner and still resent my MIL for it. She likes me well enough, but it definitely made me feel like she wasn't thrilled I was joining the family.

I knew he was gonna propose because I did some major snooping. He got a phone call one day and got super weird about answering it in private. So when he was showering I googled the number and found out it was a jewelry store. I just knew he bought the ring though, not what it looked like or when he would ask. I'll never tell him, he still brags about how great his surprise was.

DH and I had gone ring shopping together so I knew it was coming eventually. But, he took fooorrrever to propose! Almost a year, I think?? But I also knew when he was going to actually propose because of a mysterious call, that I later Googled, and found out it was the jewelry store. I snooped in his files and found the receipt. I didn't tell him because I wanted to be surprised when he actually did it!

We do this also. We have a joint credit card and one each on our own for Xmas/bday presents etc. We keep our chequing accounts separate and I think this keeps us sane as the only thing we really ever fight over is money. 6 years and going strong, I don't know if we will ever fully have joint accounts. H thinks he surprised me and he didn't. I noticed an odd conversation between him and a mutual friend's FI and I scrolled down and saw something about a jeweler. We went on a big trip when he proposed and he asked me to run in and get sunscreen out of his suitcase, and that's when I found the ring. I didn't look at it though, because I knew if I did I wouldn't be able to pretend I was surprised at all.

He was acting SUPER weird the morning he did it and so were my parents that he'd asked for permission, so I knew it was coming. He's super proud of himself though so i just don't have the heart.

Our road trip was going up and down the west coast. We'd been to my hometown in OR the year before and I told him when we were there that Cannon Beach was my favorite beach. We were in California and then I told him that beach (Big River in Mendocino) was my favorite and he was all WHAT?!? I THOUGHT CANNON BEACH WAS YOUR FAVORITE since he'd been planning on proposing there. Favorite in Oregon...

Not too long ago I asked him what his number was and he didn't want to talk about it, presumably he doesn't want to know mine either. I was honestly just curious, but whatever. I can live with that.
