  I get a pain on one side through my butt and hip really badly when doing things like mowing the lawn or sitting too long. I figured it is possibly nerve pain. I have never been diagnosed with anything yet though.

  It does kind of feel like siatica nerve pain to me too. But I was wondering if this has anything to do with pregnancy? I heard Pelvic girdle pain can start in the first trimester (though it is usually later) and feels a lot like sciatic nerve pain...

  I believe I've read sciatica pain is normal during pregnancy too, all the joints loosening and such, things get pinched

  I have the same kind of pain, but I have 2 herniated discs and sciatica so I never associated it with pregnancy, but maybe it is.

  Sounds like SPD/pelvic girdle pain. I have it every pregnancy and it is horrrrible. Mimics sciatica but sciatica is not caused by pregnancy. Which I found out last week after saying it was sciatica last pregnancy :P
