i have a question : my doctor checked if i got dilated and he said no and i was wondering if i can be same til delivery.? if so, would i get induced or what? im so new to this. please help! no rude comments!!!

and another question : how would i know im going thru false labor or real labor? cause i been going thru some sharp pains lately and sometimes it feels so uncomfortable.

im due june 6.

Do you mean if you haven't dilated by now you would need a c section or induction? Absolutely not. You can go into labor at any time. You can be checked at 9 am not be dilated and in labor in a few hours.

And as for how will you know it's real labor? You'll probably start to feel some contractions soon, or maybe not. But believe me as a mother who already had a baby. You KNOW when they are real. When you can't walk and talk through them, it's real.

@genesisvazquez I have asked that few times about how I will know...I am feeling stronger BH now since I am 1 cm dilated now and my due date is June 5th.
my doctor told me:
If it is consistent, I have timer watch so I clock my time...every 5 minutes then call my doctor. Then, head to hospital if it gets wild! FTM here too.

@mrs1374a thank you!!! Funny, I got checked yesterday... I am 1cm dilated. My hubby he doesn't know how body works. He goes so it would be 2cm next week. I go nooooo...it could be ANY time! Explained to him, I could be 1cm yesterday and might give birth this morning. He said...wait in there baking a little longer because I am 37weeks and few days.

Hopefully it stays in until this Friday so he can save his vacation
