ill try to make this as short as possible. I had a traumatic birth being that the cord was wrapped around my sons neck twice and both of our heart rates dropped and I lost consciousness. An emergency c-section was performed. I thought all was well until he wouldn't latch. He had a posterior level 3 tongue tie ( not noticeable) and 3 pediatricians said he wasn't tongue tied. We only found out after seeing a specialist. He was also lip tied. He had both procedures done to cauterize the ties to hopefully latch. He developed thrush that wouldn't go away and is now on Diflucan. After 8 weeks of exclusive pumping bc he wouldn't feed from the source, I gave him formula. My supply dropped and had to pump 10-14 times a day to increase supply. 20 minutes each time plus the 40 to feed him became physically challenging. ( 4 other children here and I had no time to do anything around the house). My sweet boy was fussy every time he was awake and seemed to be in pain. After 9 weeks I saw a specialist. A pediatric chiropractor. Bottom line is my son has started the Koren Specific Treatment at a baby chiropractor's office due to a traumatic birth causing neurological issues. I'm told it's fixable but I was wondering if anyone else is having this many issues?? Or if anyone has tried KST?? Sorry for the rant.
Re: KST: Anybody tried it? Traumatic birth causing complications at 9 weeks??
