my due date is Oct.19th. what month should I have my baby shower?

    I'm due oct 15th, my mother is throwing a shower for me the end of August or start of September ! That way it's not too close to my due date !

    Most baby showers are 6-8 weeks before due date. But I don't think there's such a thing as a "wrong time" to have one.

    I am due October 8th and my shower is August 16th. I wanted my shower in August or early September so that I will have time to finish things up and get things that we don't end up getting at the shower. The 16th was decided because that's the only date the venue had :)

    Im due october 14th but my mother and mother-in-law are throwing me a baby shiwer the second week in august. Its early because DH's grandmother leaves to go to florida early september and my mom starts her masters degree program in mid august so it just works out better for them to do it earlier. Dso id say whatever is convenient for the people who are throwing your shower :)

    I'm due Oct 17 and we are planning on early August. I know that's early but I live 6 hrs from my mom and she is a teacher and starts teaching the middle of August so to Make sure she can come down and enjoy the shower, it's going to be that early.

    August sounds like a good time. You want to have it close but not too close that you are uncomfortable. Two months before allows for that..plus allows time to finish up your wish list.

    I'm due October 10th. My best friends are doing my baby shower the first week of September. Like a lot of the other moms mentioned I want time to get things together before the baby is due.

    So excited!!!!

    Call me crazy, but we're planning on having our showers in June/early July.... We aren't due until October 21st, but want to feel prepared and know ahead of time what we need to save for and buy before baby comes.
