Weird comments about ultrasound pics?

Anyone get weird feedback when you show them your ultrasound photos?

So far I got:
"Those pictures creep me out. Don't show me any more"
From MY MOM!
And:
"Cute but kind of scary pic knowing she is inside of you"
From my friend.
That's a stupid comment. Where do babies usually grow!?
Tell me I'm not the only one.

Honestly, the 3D/4D ultrasound pictures creep me out, so I decided not to do them. However, I tend to have enough class not to say that to my friends when they show me theirs. Some people just don't know what to say, I guess.

I too dislike 3D so I avoid them but DH loves them. People haven't said too many harsh things but I have a friend/co-worker that refers to my baby as a paraiste and that really bothers me.

I have a coworker as well that refers to my baby as a parasite. I am a vet tech and it is one of the Veterinarians that says that to me......

I sent my aunt an ultrasound pic because she asked me for one and he response was..."good thing you're having a boy, or that would be a really ugly girl." Ummmm thanks.

I showed my GM my 3D pic because she asked to see it the AGM ran over to look and said ahhh eww!

Well i got "wow it looks like alien don't u think " i just started to laugh pics wasn't good and honestly that was my first thought after i saw it myself heheh but than i thought so f..ng what its my little alien hehehehe who cares what anybody ealse thinks .hugs girls best od luck with everything

Ultrasound pictures are creepy. Pregnancy is weird. You cannot expect everyone to get excited over your medical imaging. Mine are on my fridge and if someone admires them fine, if not, meh.

I second this.

Whenever I was shown someone else's ultrasound pics, I wondered why they bothered. I couldn't really tell what was what. 'You can't? Well, this is this and that is that...' It's just a jumble of black and white fuzz to me if I don't know what I'm looking at. Also, everyone's really excited to point out the genitals which I always thought was weird lol I've had to fake a lot of enthusiasm in these situations so I wouldn't seem like an asshole lol

The 4D ones look like aliens, and creep me out even though I'm pregnant.

I don't know, I guess I don't expect everyone to gush over my kid's baby pictures even after it's born, so I wouldn't expect them to do it for an ultrasound photo.

Third! Definitely not into them. And I still think it's weird when people ask to see them.

I was told that our 3D photo looked like someone poured out candle wax & it dried that way ... Awkward to hear, but once I looked at it, she was right, it kind of does.

My dad said they looked freaky but I was expecting that. My 3d came out weird because little man kept turning to his side. I really only like a couple of them but I have not had weird comments because baby daddy is not cool with showing baby off to too many people

The only US shot that we got of his face makes him legit look like a demon. I don't expect people to ooh and aah over that.
