nausea

Hi there im all new to thing pregnancy thing and i had a couples questions. I'm 7 weeks pregnant and i've been having alot of nausea i always feel like i want to vomit but i dont end up vomiting i get the nausea part.. What can i do or take to help it either go away or not get it as often ...

    Hello!  I would suggest finding your bump month board or search for this in the "1st Trimester" board since you'll find a lot more ladies there in the same position and will likely get far more responses than on here when everyone is just getting towards the end of their pregnancies and dealing with other uncomfortable issues. :)

    But with that said, for me controlling my nausea in the beginning (and now) was actually eating constantly.  I realized that I would feel the worst right before bed through the morning, so I started eating a lot of smaller snacks with high fiber to keep me full every 1-2 hours, which helped a ton.  I kept snacks by the bed, so if I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom or something, I would eat something.  I also like preggie drops, but they definitely make your mouth a bit raw if you have too many of them.

  • The smell of citrus can cut through the feeling of nausea, calm your stomach, and calm you. Cut the lemon position it close to you so you can smell it. Make sure you are inhaling and exhaling fully.

    Pineapple helped me alot or drinking sprite or vernors also
  • Like PP said I would goto first trimester board. But I ate a lot of graham crackers or crackers an had ice with me through the day. But good luck !
