5 weeks old with eczema?

my pediatrician told me to use Vaseline or aquaphor or my 5week olds eczema... Seems a bit odd to me ... Did anyone else use Vaseline or other items that seemed to work?

    Look into Shea Moisture Raw Shea Chamomile Head to Toe Ointment. It's supposed to work wonders on eczema


    Also, just as a side note. My first kid had eczema as a baby and when I went off eggs it cleared up beautifully on its own within a month or so. I discovered it was from a food allergy she had just front me eating it and it getting into my breast milk. To this day she can't eat eggs without breaking out in horrible bleeding rashes. She's 4. So! If you're breast feeding. Maybe look into that too :)
