Frustrated

I am 38 weeks +4 I am having contractions that I can time but they are not consistent and the back pressure that comes with them makes them hard to time and that's a majority of what's going on I am 1CM and 80% effaced for 2 weeks now and I went from having so much energy yesterday to having none today my body feels like it's just shutting down from exhaustion do you think labor is approaching? I have been losing my plug in pieces since my last check up last week with some blood too..I was wide awake from 2am until 6am this morning wanting to do everything but my 2 year old and hubby were sleeping so I couldn't lol help..

    I am feeling the same way! I am 38 weeks 5 days along and I have had strong and consistent contractions for about 2 weeks now. They started at 12 minutes apart and on Friday night went to 5 minutes apart. I went into the hospital and they sent me home because I was still at 2 1/2cm and 80%. I too have been losing my plug in pieces, and I am pretty sure yesterday the rest of it came out. I had the "bloody show" already. I talked to my doctor because I am literally exhausted already and she suggested an induction if I don't go into labor by Wednesday. Another symptom I am getting is REALLY sharp lightening pains down my legs. Almost feels like my legs are cramping and every time it happens it nearly knocks me off my feet. On the bright side...we are almost at the finish line and soon will see our baby!

    Yes it's so frustrating I'm just exhausted and with my first I had to be induced but I had to get a new doctor because mine moved to another state and this one doesn't seem to want to induce me I told him I won't go over 40 weeks I'm miserable with the back labor I just want to cry atleast I'm not the only one like this makes me feel a little better..
