Vacation restrictions while pregnant.

Hi there. I'm traveling to an island in Mexico off the coast of cancun named Isla mujeres. I'm wondering if I will be able to order any Virgin frozen drinks? The concern is the water they use to make the frozen drink. Have any of you experienced this or have any advice? Otherwise I'll stick to good ole bottled water. Thanks in advance!

    My husband and I honeymooned several years ago in Playa Mujeres but took a day trip to Isla Mujeres and it was absolutely beautiful! Are you staying on a resort? If you order drinks from a resort, you shouldn't have any problems. When we went off the resort, we only ordered drinks that came in cans or bottles so we didn't risk any issues with the water.

    We LOVE Isla Mujeres. I took my trash the dress photos there (We got married in Cancun). You won't have any problem. ENJOY! I am envious. If you have the time take a golf cart ride to Casa De Los Suenos early in the morning. The view is truly breathtaking. Also, the restaurant at the end of the island by the ruins has the best view and really good fish tacos.

    Verify with the concierge at your hotel to ensure that they only use filtered water throughout the resort.

    Usually 4-5 star resorts do, but I would definitely verify before consuming anything that isn't bottled.
