Every year he goes to the Indy 500 race in Indianapolis. He loves it. I'm pretty sure he dreams about it. His birthday is the 26th of May and every year it's sort of his gift to himself. Well I'm due June 3rd. I've been on makena injections which I was on with DD as well.
I was told by my high risk docs that often times women labor naturally about a week after the last injection which is exactly what happened with DD. So my last shot was at 36 wks. It will be two weeks on Thursdsy since my last shot.
DH is driving me nuts about this race. It's the 24th. I mean seriously I get it.. He wants to go but I can't control when the baby will come!!
I got a massage this weekend. A pedicure with deep massage. Clary sage oil. Raspberry tea. I mean what else do you think I can do really?? Wednesday is his drop dead date. If no baby by then, he won't go. Sorry you might miss your race. I can't do crap about it. Geesh.

Sometimes he will ask me "do you think you will have the baby on ...... whatever certain day or date..... because I want to ........" Like really. It could be a date weeks away or days away. LIke I control when I have the baby at all.
My husband has only ever gone with me to one dr appointment. It was with my 2nd child. It was an appointment that was one day over my due date. I thought it odd he was going...then when we got there the reason came out. When my midwife came in he tells her "so I wanted to see what we could do about inducing her" . I was like WHAT???? I didn't want to be induced. His reasons were because 1. the end of the year was near...he wanted the tax break and 2. He liked knowing he didn't have to get up in the middle of the night or anything to go to the hospital...it just worked better for HIS schedule!! My midwife was like "ummmm...no we are not inducing at this point"
