Linea Nigra already?!

I'm 18 weeks and just noticed today that there is a faint but very noticable line down my stomach. Has anyone else started to see one? I'm curious because I'm going to the beach this weekend and had planned on wearing two piece but not sure if sun will only make it darker? Any help/comments much appreciated!

    I noticed mine today too. I was hoping I'd be one of the lucky ones that dont get it. They go away after baby right? I'd be interested to know if it gets darker with sun too.

    I just noticed mine today too :-) it does go away, don't worry ladies. I don't remember the sun making mine worse during previous pregnancies.

    I've had mine since week 8/9.  I'm pretty sure mine has a lot to do with genetics; my mom and my aunt still have theirs and they haven't had babies in 20 years.  Theirs isn't as dark any more, but it's there if you look for it.

    I'm almost 21 weeks and I can just barely see it...but mine goes from my sternum to the top of my belly button and stops. It's very faint. I'm not too worried about it though. It goes away most of the time.

    Had mine (faint) since about 14 weeks, just spent a week in the sun on vaca & mine isn't any darker, I assume it'll just darken as the weeks go.

    My husband spotted mine around week 15. But so far its really faint and only goes from my belly button down. I've been sunbathing weekly and I haven't noticed it getting darker (I can't even see it in the mirror, only if he takes a picture for me)

    I've had mine since around week six. My skin tone has always had a pale but olivey thing going on, and it seems to pigment very easily, so I was not surprised. I think of it as a badge of "yup, definitely pregnant!", pride and it makes me happy every time I look in the mirror. Especially early on when I still had a hard time believing that there was actually a human growing inside me. :) If it stays, oh well. It means I've been pregnant, and my husband seems to find that sexy enough to compensate.

    I noticed mine around 10-12 weeks. It has just started showing above my belly button!

    I noticed mine around 12-13 weeks. It hasn't really darkened, buy it does go above my belly button now and apparently my belly button isn't centered. Hahaha

    I'm pretty sure I had the linea negra by this point with DS, but no line this time! (Yet, anyway).

    It will go away eventually, it may take several weeks though.
