01/2015-Femara 5mg + Gonal F 25 units + trigger (plus additional Gonal F 100 units on trigger night) + IUI= BFP!!! Twins due 10/2015 09/28/2015- Surprise! Conrad and Hudson born at 35w6d!
i'm confused...you've clearly had an ultrasound but your doctor didn't tell you how many babies were in there? that's basically the first thing i was told.
I'm not an ultrasound tech so i'm inclined to believe whatever your doctor told you.
It's a little worrisome he couldn't tell if there are two or not. We had an urgent u/s at 5w6d this pregnancy and one at 6w with a previous one due to issues and could all see plain as day that there were twins with both. They were both measured and heartbeat rates were taken and with the first pregnancy, they could tell the twins embryo that split may not have split correctly and that we were at risk for a m/c that later occurred. How far along was this u/s you had and with what type of Dr?
***Trying to conceive since 9/12- m/c 2/13 from natural conception.
IVF success 10/14 with m/c 11/14. FET success 4/15***
6 weeks 6 days and it was an ultrasound tech apprentice that is why I'm a bit iffy so I'll be going for another at a different place at 12 weeks
But wasn't the ultrasound ordered by your doctor? You should always have a follow up with your doctor after an ultrasound is done. Your doctor would have looked at the scan and at least called and told you the results, even if the ultrasound tech didn't, and especially if it was twins.
Looks like 2 babies to me but in the same sac .. I have to have get mine checked for 2 on my 12 week scan but if I have got twins mine are in separate sacs I've uploaded a pic below.. What do u think??
I can see what you mean I should be having another scan on the same day so fx they can tell me for sure this time and good luck with your scan would love to hear an update
Looks like one but I'm used to seeing ultrasounds at 12 weeks not 6.. We don't scan until 12 in the office I work at . Either way it's still exciting to see !
Well the original poster already commented that her repeat ultrasound showed only one baby. That was the reason for her asking if you'd read the thread at all. Just pointing out the obvious. (Edited for grammar mistakes)

I'm confused as to why you are getting upset? The OP already said it's one baby despite the ultrasound looking like 2 to the untrained eye.
Just because people don't believe (based on our limited knowledge) that OP's picture is twins doesn't automatically mean we think yours aren't or anything.
I think you are getting defensive for this poster because her situation was/is similar to yours. No one is attacking anyone in this thread. I didn't see anything even remotely snarky or "smart".
