Doctor?

I am 18 weeks and for the past 3 days I have had horrible symptoms of the flu.
Is it okay to just go to my regular family doctor? Or do I need to go to my obgyn since I am pregnant.
Someone told me that they didn't think once you get pregnant a regular family doctor will see you anymore.?
Is this true? And which should I go to?

    I would call both in the morning, explain your symptoms, and see what they say.  It doesn't hurt to keep both informed of any new health conditions.

    My OB said for all other non pregnancy related sickness that I should go to my normal doctor.

    I was never sick while pregnant, but my OB/GYN will not see you for regular sickness, but will double check any meds the reg dr gives you over the phone.
