Favorite Nursing Bras?

any suggestions for a breastfeeding mama with a larger chest? I have two Bodysilk Bravado bras from my last baby (3 yrs ago) that are super comfy, but I'm not sure they are supportive enough/provide good enough coverage to wear when I go back to work in a few weeks... I also own 1 bravado "bliss" but I dunno if it's the wrong size or what but it is not comfortable enough to wear to work for 9-10 hours a day

Re: Favorite Nursing Bras?

  • Sorry it cut off my reply- I wear cotton T shirts with company logo on it to work- and therefore want something that's gonna hold the girls up, but also is easy to pump in haha! All suggestions appreciated!

I REALLY like my Jessica Simpson Demi bra. I like low cut shirts so they show off the girls really nice haha. Its super supportive too. I'm a DD, I can't say what it would be like for bigger than that but i feel like it would be just fine! I got them from motherhood . The only con is that they don't fold down as far as I would like them. I nurse in them just fine and for pumping it would be fine. But I think with any shaped cup you're going to have that problem. I can't stand soft cups. Probably mostly because I have boobs that are bottom heavy and need lift to make them look nice.

I also like the nursing "sports bra " from motherhood I got. It's like a cross between a sports bra and regular bra in my opinion. If I went serious running I would have to wear something else but it looks great under everyday stuff and works great for walking, yoga, Pilates, ect. It's from motherhood too and they just call it the Sports Clip Down Nursing Bra. I really like it for day time use when I'm not dressing up.
  • Thanks @adelems, I'll check those out! You always have good suggestions ☺️ (Loving the Shea Moisture lotion you suggested awhile back too! Smells so good!)

Agree - Jessica Simpson demi is amazing!
  • Is there a store that sells them or do you buy them online? Thanks

Morherhood.com or there are stores in different cities. Nordstrom.com is also a great online place to shop. Always free shipping and they pay return shipping too. Which is fantastic for people who can't get to the store to try on stuff .. Like moms with babies lol. I ordered four different bras from Nordstrom and ended up returning them all and it was so easy. You can also return online purchases to the store no problem.
Motherhood on the other hand you have to pay for shipping both ways and they do in store exchanges for online purchases but I'm not sure if they will do a full return , you would have to check with them
  • Thank you!!
  • I like the nursing tshirt from Medella. No, it isn't a bra but I have bras by the same company and I just prefer the tshirt. It's so much easier to use.
  • I have yet to find a really comfortable bra, but Motherhood has a decent selection. I settled for underwire because all of the wireless bras were uncomfortable and kept creeping up. Right now I also have a demi bra style from Motherhood that works ok for now. Much more support than the nursing camisoles I have been using!
