Bad luck/death omen?

So Id like to know what you ladies think of this. In the last week I have encountered birds flying into the windows of houses im in. Twice at my own home and once while I was at my mothers. The first time the bird died. And the other two times I could not find the bird so I assumed they flew away. All I could see was a tuft of feathers and a smudge on the windows. I was reading up and was told that these are signs someone will die soon :/ or a warning that something bad may happen. To say I'm a little freaked out is more then accurate. Ill be 25 weeks pregnant on Tuesday and I worry for my baby girls health now and my son ... And all my family really! I had a threatened miscarrage at around 12 weeks in this pregnancy but all seems fine now! Am I being paranoid? Has anyone else hurd of superstitions to this effect?

  • Agree with pp. we had birds flying into our windows last year. One died as a result.

    No one else died. :-)
  • Just seems weird that in less then a week it's happened 3 times. Iv had this happen before but maybe once every 3 years or more lol .... I'm a superstitious person and need to just think positive. Thanks ladies
  • Oh sweetheart!!! Don't do this to yourself. It doesn't mean anything. Animals are more active this time of year. It's sad for the birdies, but it doesn't mean anything bad for you! :) I know it's hard not to read into things (ESPECIALLY when you're pregnant) but everything is fine. :)>- :)
  • We had a cardinal that came to our house every day and would fly into the window and sit outside the window and would repeatedly fly into it. At first we laughed it off then a couple weeks went by and we started wondering so we looked it up and we read the same omen article you probably read and were kinda freaked out. But we brushed it off and decided to name it and think of it as our little pet. Then a friend told us it is because it sees its reflection in the window it thinks it is another cardinal in its territory, our friend said to open the windows and see what happens. So we did and when we opened the windows he never once tried to fly in the window. It is only a territory thing. Silly birds!
