Nipples

39wks and it feels like my nipples are being cut off by razor blades. What on earth! Anyone else have this? I read surge in hormones or something, I blame hormones for everything, including my nose that is growing in size with my belly!!! Ughhhhh!!!! Lol come on little man, it's time to come out!

    Mine don't hurt but they itch like crazy the last couple weeks, which I thought was weird. Because it's just my nipples...lol

    Wait until you start breast feeding. Talk about OWWW!! Invest in Lanolin cream.....makes all the difference.

    I didn't feel this sensation before giving birth but feel it often now whenever I need to breastfeed or pump to empty my breasts. My husband and I call it the "my boobs are on fire" feeling but it really is more razor blade-ish.

    I'm STM and have definitely had the nipple pain from exclusively BF, but this is even before that! Baby should be here soon. I guess it's just hormones from what I read everywhere.
