Amazon Registry Fail?

I signed up and completed our registry through amazon thinking it would be easiest for family/friends to find.
After I made it public I realized our names / registry isn't showing up in any search results when you search on Google. Our names also don't show up in amazon search - only when you search Baby Registry then type in the name. Seems a lot of steps and I'm afraid people won't find it?
Anyone else had this problem? Thinking of switching everything over to The Bump registry???

    My friend ended up having to send a link to their Amazon registry. After that, it was very easy to find. Good luck!

    My cousin was registered on Amazon. I didn't think it was hard to find at all. Will it be listed on your shower invitation?

    I personally would register at a bricks and mortar type store as well, only because some people prefer to shop for baby gifts in person and shop the day before/day of the shower.

    It makes sense that they'd have to go to Amazon and search under baby registry with your name...? Not sure why that would be so difficult. It's not going to connect to another search engine like Google.

    Can they search in Amazon by just your email address? I have a running wish list for my daughter that you can find with just my email.

    Check your privacy setting again. Maybe something didn't actually change.

    I am registered at Amazon and it's the second thing that shows up when you search my name and "registry". My two other registries don't even show up. I use The Bump registry and I LOVE it! I am registered at three places and it keeps everything together for family and friends. Plus, I shortened the link to my registry so it's real easy to give to people and put on invites!

    It may take a few hours to become officially public. Also I don't think it is too many clicks. About the same as doing a registry at brick and mortar stores and looking at it online.
