i vented to my husband about the overuse of this question, and he pointed out that it's nice that people care. yes...but "how are you feeling?" is something you ask sick people. i'm not sick...i'm pregnant!!! i'm lucky enough to not have had morning sickness, otherwise maybe this question might make more sense.
AND people are always asking "how's the baby?" shoot, i i feel flutters here and there, but is she moving because she's bored, happy, has gas? she's in my stomach, not much more for me to tell.
ugh-sorry, guess i needed to vent so i don't go off on someone today. :-p thanks!
Re: VENT please not another "how are you feeling?"
Unfortunately that is never going to happen!
One of my coworkers is pregnant due in the middle of March. Pre-preg she couldn't have weighed more than 100lbs - legs like string beans. She told me the other day, "you don't even look pregnant!" Um, that's because I had a belly to begin with. I would have rather been her pre-preg weight than mine!

I get that followed by, are you having morning sickness? Even though that normally goes away after the first tri, why the hell do you care if I'm puking my guts out every morning? Do you want me to share the details if I were? Seriously?
I've asked my friend, who is 9 weeks, how she's feeling, but only because I know I felt like crap at that point. If she feels anything like I did, I try to give her pointers about what worked for me, etc.
I get the looks and the prods for other answers when I tell people I'm fine too. I didn't have any m/s or nausea and people were so concerned for me. WHY? I'm doing fine. Do you want me to say that I'm sick just to make YOU feel better?? I don't get people!
