hope I am in the right place... maybe getting a little excited

Hi everyone! I usually hang over in the TTTC board, but I figured this wouldn't be appropriate for there. I hope this is the right area for it, I've been bouncing around trying to figure it out.
So quick background - dh and I have been ttc for 4 years. We have a diagnosis of unexplained infertility, and I was prescribed Synthroid (for slightly high thyroid levels), femara cd 3-7, and the plan was to do an ultrasound on cd 14 (a Tuesday), then trigger and iui. This cycle turned into serious oddness - I got a +opk on sunday, so we did the iui on monday, with no ultrasound and no trigger, and DH'S count after the wash was 8m (we didn't abstain as long as we were told to, because the time line unexpectedly moved up). My Temps did a slow rise, but didn't go high until Thursday (we did bd monday, tuesday, and wednesday, to be safe), and they have been all crazy because my sleep has been even more erratic than normal.
So to my question: it's been 2 weeks since my iui. No AF, HPT was negative. I called the RE, and they told me to go in on Wednesday for a blood test if AF doesn't come. This is my first cycle with an iui, and I have no idea if what I am experiencing is normal, or if I should have a smidgen of excitement. Because of the slow temp rise, I'm not sure exactly when I ovulated. I *think* my Temps went back up today (once again, erratic sleep makes it hard) I'm either 12 or 14 dpo, depending on where you count from, and I usually get af 12dpo.
Sorry for the big book. Like I said, I'm feeling nervous and trying not to get my hopes up too much... af could start in an hour for all I know!

I know nothing about iui so I am no help I just wanted to respond since I see
You haven't gotten an answer. This will bump your question up to the top
pregnant after round 2 of IVF. Transferred 2 embryos and (surprise!) was pregnant with triplets. Identicals passed at 8 and 10 weeks. Still have one healthy baby boy with EDD of July 30!
