Membrane sweep

I will be 40 weeks tomorrow and went to see my doctor this morning.. she told me I was 3-4cm dilated now and swept my membranes.. what are the chances of going into labor in the near future? She also told me his heartbeat was 134 .. normally it is higher around 145-155 but she didn't act concerned.. will his heartbeat slow the closer I come to giving birth?

    I had basically the same results this past Tuesday (38w5d) being 3cm dialated and very thin. And while my baby's heartbeat is usually 157 and it was 136. My doctor said anything from 110-170 is normal and the baby was probably just resting.

    I got a sweep done and she told me to make an appointment a week later just incase it didn't put me into labour.

    I had my membrane sweep on Monday and was 5 cm dilated. Still nothing! I have had some bad BH contractions and cramping since and now today I feel normal.

    There is always a chance. I had mine done at 39+5 and went into labor in the night and had her the next day. It depends on if your body and baby are ready.
