castor oil induction

I came across the internet about castor oil being use to induce labour. I'm 38 WKS and 3 DAYS today and I'm taking 2 tblspoons at 6 pm. Hopefully this works.

    Castor oil shouldn't be used until 40 weeks and even then can be harmful. You just get sick and that creates contractions. Also, if baby isn't ready, it won't help and could make you feel horrible. Just my opinion. Hope baby comes soon but with castor oil. Try walking, sex, eggplant parm or other induction methods.

    Why are so many ladies trying to induce themselves at 38 weeks? Let your baby's lungs develope further and stick it out.

    I'm 40+2 and still will not do Castor Oil. To me the risks out weigh the benefits.
