It's close enough that it really won't matter much at all in the scheme of things. Some people measure much less than they would based off of their LMP but that's because they probably ovulated later than usual. One day doesn't make a difference.
....I don't understand why being one day off is post-worthy....
It's normal. Because everyone ovulates at different times in your cycle, LMP is just a guess; some ovulate early and some late so odds are LMP isn't going to be spot on for many people. I measured three WEEKS different from my LMP and guess what? It doesn't matter. Still pregnant.

This is totally what I was thinking when I answered....
So, I don't know if your doctor let you take home a print-out of the ultrasound, but at least at my doctor's office, it will say __ wks __ days +/- ___ days. For example, I had an ultrasound and measured 6 wks 3 days +/- 4 days, meaning I could have been anywhere from 5 wks 6 days through 7 wks. Ultrasound technology is great, but it's not precise enough to measure pregnancy due to the exact day with 100% accuracy. There's always a margin of error included, which your doctor probably didn't feel was noteworthy enough to share with you, since you were only 1 day off.
Yeah, don't worrry. Like everyone else said, you may have ovulated late. Totally normal. In my case, I was 2 days behind at my 8 wk scan but 2 days ahead at my 12 wk scan so baby totally caught up (and more!).
