Measuring 1 day less then LMP

Has anyone measured 1 day less then their LMP? I measured 6 weeks 6 days and my LMP is 7 weeks.

It's normal. Because everyone ovulates at different times in your cycle, LMP is just a guess; some ovulate early and some late so odds are LMP isn't going to be spot on for many people. I measured three WEEKS different from my LMP and guess what? It doesn't matter. Still pregnant.

This. How is this even a concern?

This is totally what I was thinking when I answered....
  • So, I don't know if your doctor let you take home a print-out of the ultrasound, but at least at my doctor's office, it will say __ wks __ days +/- ___ days.  For example, I had an ultrasound and measured 6 wks 3 days +/- 4 days, meaning I could have been anywhere from 5 wks 6 days through 7 wks.  Ultrasound technology is great, but it's not precise enough to measure pregnancy due to the exact day with 100% accuracy. There's always a margin of error included, which your doctor probably didn't feel was noteworthy enough to share with you, since you were only 1 day off.
  • Yeah, don't worrry. Like everyone else said, you may have ovulated late. Totally normal. In my case, I was 2 days behind at my 8 wk scan but 2 days ahead at my 12 wk scan so baby totally caught up (and more!).
